Remote Help

WIndows XP Users:

Please disable visual effects (Aero) before starting the remote help session.

Disable Visual Effects in Windows Vista

Step 1: Right click on a blank area of your desktop screen and choose 'Personalize', then click the 'Window Color and Appearance' link:




Step 2: Click 'Open classic appearance properties for more color options




Step 3: Under 'Color Scheme' find and choose 'Windows Vista Basic', then click OK.


*To reverse this change, follow the above steps and choose the default Windows Aero theme (or other theme that suits your liking).

Disable Visual Effects in Windows 7

 Step 1: Right click on a blank area of your desktop screen and choose 'Personalize'.




Step 2: Scroll down through the themes to the section called 'Basic and High Contrast Themes' until you see 'Windows 7 Basic' and click it.  You can then close or minimize this window.

*To reverse this change, follow the above steps and choose the default Windows 7 theme (or other theme that suits your liking).
